Alussein has appointed Jennie Zeiher as Chief Executive Officer of Alussein VFX, a milestone in the studio’s mission to bring emerging technology together with the craft fundamentals of cinematic storytelling. As CEO, Jennie leads Alussein’s long-term strategy across studio operations, creative technology, growth and international expansion.
Jennie brings close to two decades of experience driving growth and transformation in the visual effects industry. She was most recently President of Rising Sun Pictures, where she led a period of sustained growth that culminated in the company being named Australian National Exporter of the Year in 2024. In 2018, she helped steer Rising Sun’s early adoption of machine learning in visual effects through a partnership with the Australian Institute of Machine Learning, work that went on to earn national and international recognition, including the 2024 Autodesk Design & Make Award and a South Australian Women in Innovation Award.
Alussein Co-Founder Tony Clark says Jennie’s combination of creative leadership, strategic foresight and fluency in emerging technology makes her uniquely suited to lead the studio’s next chapter. Jennie describes the role as an opportunity to help define a new operating model for production, one that pairs machine learning and automation with traditional filmmaking craft to give artists more room for the work that matters.
Jennie also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Brand South Australia, and has previously served on the boards of Ausfilm and the Visual Effects Society Australia Section.
