Pre Lens Engine
Alussein’s AI-assisted production planning and execution engine.
Pre Lens turns a script into a clear, costed production plan before a single frame is shot. It is the intelligent translation layer between imagination and execution; between technology and production. Within an hour, we produce an intelligent script breakdown; within minutes concepts, look-books and storyboards are generated. The creatives drive the look, tone and feel of the film, allowing them to explore the film early, make informed decisions and align creatively without the risk. As the production process continues, Pre Lens can help execute fully generative shots or sequences, or work with the VFX team to deliver final pixel on live-action plates using a traditional or hybrid VFX approach. Pre Lens is model agnostic by design, so it works with whichever tools and models the production already trusts.
What Pre Lens does.
Script & Story
Script breakdown and script-to-screen analysis — pacing, length and story structure, surfaced automatically.
Visual Planning
Early AI-led production visualisation — concept, storyboards, moving images and full look books.
Budget, Schedule & Risk
Production methodologies, shot and setup estimation, budgeting, forecasting and risk analysis.
Creative Alignment
A shared plan the director, HODs and the studio can iterate on together — before costs are locked in. Pre Lens can train a secure, local model on a production’s own imagery, so the team plans and executes against material that’s actually theirs.
From concept to final pixel.
Pre Lens doesn’t stop at pre-production. Once a production is locked in, individual shots and sequences can carry straight through to completion, however that completion should happen.
Fully generative
For shots and sequences suited to it, Pre Lens carries the plan straight through — script page to final generative pixel — inside the same system, should a production want it.
Traditional & hybrid
For everything else, productions shoot as normal and our VFX team takes the same plan into traditional or hybrid post — iterating and executing shot by shot with full creative control.
Either way, it’s the same plan carrying through — the choice is how a shot gets finished, not whether it’s planned properly.
Production Intelligence.
Every department works from the same production intelligence — a living knowledge base built from the script, the plan and the production’s own material — from character casting through to locations and world building, and everything between.
Character & Casting
A shared reference for who’s who — look, continuity and casting notes, accessible to every department that needs them.
Locations
Location detail and constraints carried through from scout to schedule to shot, so nothing is planned in isolation.
World Building
The rules of the world — environments, production design, visual language — held centrally and kept consistent at scale.
Time well spent.
Where the hours go — and what they buy you.
Tighter physical production, less risk, more thorough planning — more time on-set for the performance that matters.
Lower cost through creative clarity — everyone is on the same page without endless rounds of briefing; every department can get on with their job without second-guessing.
